I think you're right. It should definitely go to Forum Games. It'd probably get a lot more attention there as well.

Sorry for the long delay: I had to lay low for a few weeks after my attempt to pose as a Patagonian diplomat for council tax avoidance purposes failed dramatically. Fortunately, I was clean shaven at the time and have since been able to grow a beard. Anyway, enough about me, onwards with The Secret of Loom!

So we arrive at the clearing:



And there appears to be a great big tent:



Should we enter the tent or is there any business to attend to whilst still in the clearing?

So I head into the circus tent, where two members of the Guild of Circus Performers are arguing:



I beseech them to let me join their guild, but they say that the entrance requirements are two-fold: first I must get a Gaudy Garment to wear.



Second, I must prove to them that I am worthy by Performing a Trick, for which I'll need to provide my own Helmet.



Do we want to accept the quest to become a member of Guild of Circus Performers?

You guys missed the clue: check the wikipedia link for "distaff".  near the bottom is the entry on "Secret of the Loom".  What's funny is that a distaff is also part of musical terminology (hence the notes)
