Don't tell me you're going to make an objection to this because of the whole colonial oppression thing. There's nobody living in Antarctica on a permanent basis, and the few hundred who are just there to do science! There isn't anybody to oppress! Who are we going to enslave, the penguins?

You mistake him. I think he's speaking about the oil based land grab everyone is attempting here rather then looking for alternatives, or the encroachment by elder things on the microbes birthplace, let alone the subterfuge initated by Your sect of timeclones, SlimeHunt.

There can't be much oil under Antarctica. There is little actual land for the oil to be under, and that land is under miles of ice. That land is there is also an archipelago, and they are not known for being oil sinks.

There's a decent-sized central landmass, though.

If you're alright with destroying every coastal city on Earth, sure.

I think you are prejudiced against colnialists. We could establish a peaceful alliance of cooperation and friendship with the native penguins. Although the space-creatures would not like us...

It's not about colonial oppression, it's about not ruining the last permanently uninhabited continent on Earth with our chauvinism, environmental exploitation and nonsense.

Hey. Hey! What did Earth expect when it left those fossil fuel reserves just hanging out in plain sight? If you want to blame anyone for all the environmental damage, blame Earth for not hiding the petroleum better.
