Those two sound...amusing.

Is one of Fussy's Berserk Buttons stupidity? Is another being called Fussy?

But wait you guys, what are you going to do when you get to the dwarves? They still rolled 15, and what will ya find there? They're already working on metals for themselves, and threats are mainly defensive, (armies, titans & forgotten beasts). On the other hand, gobbos are disposable minions that don't want fancy metals for themselves, but love to invade others (like dwarves w/ their fancy metals for your pleasure, or those stinking hydra-hating elves & humans). They might still run into titans amongst the other races, but forgotten beasts and their extracts won't melt off our teeth, and we'll be able to take the fight to whomever we want if we can persuade the goblins we're the business.

Just saying.

We're going to get some worshipers.

Could be, you never know until you try. :p
Tough he would prefer if you called him Fus or Ro'Dah instead.

hmm, worshippers only, not subjects/minions? Well...it's hard to twist a hydra into an ancestor/embodiment of ancestry. How do they reproduce anyway?

I wanted to know what his profile pic was, sent him a message a while ago.

Worshipers first; the rest comes later. It's easier to convince these people we're a god than get elected.

When a mommy hydra and a daddy hydra love each other VERY much, they exchange sperm and fertilize their eggs before laying them. Then the eggs hatch.
Since we're a hermaphrodites*, we might be able to self-fertilize, but that doesn't seem like a good idea...

*Intentional.

Huh, so it's a fertile hermaphrodite mutant? Are the babies hydras as well, or a mix of hydras/dragons? Or all dragons? Genetics, yay. Moving off-topic onversation to PM, ask jbg if you're really so curious about which one I'm talking about.

That's debatable. Goblins would be an example where it'd be easy to get elected, (with the right...qualities), but harder to be worshiped. But yes, hydra an ancestor, anyone ideas?

also: we already have the lizard people as worshippers. If we can get the goblins to accept them, we could have a perfectly tenable position there.moved

Goblins also don't have steel, and being a god makes you less likely to be backstabbed by someone coveting your power.

I wonder how often heads of a single hydra fall in love, it seems like it would be a common thing.

Don't have steel yet. Could be a fun quest.

As for backstabbing: if we can get part of our lizardman worshipper civ to live with us, backstabbing would be mitigated.

Somehow, I doubt that a goblin with sufficient courage to try to assassinate a hydra would be dissuaded by some lizardmen...

Hey, those two priests demolished walton pretty handily. Not to mention our civ is composed of master thiefs; if anyone can detect a ninja assassin, master thiefs can. We have our priests, some thief artisans and a few of FYR's warriors with us there, and at the very least we won't be taken by surprise. And in that case, it's a good idea we won't have to deal with steel.

Dwarves on the other hand, they have steel, anti-noble resentment & techniques, and tantrum spirals.
