Mostly from Russia. Hundreds  of armed  Russians  cross the border every day.   We basically gave up a portion of a border to terrorists. We "closed" several checkpoints ( Border guards just retreated and then government announced closure)

In fact it rather impossible to stop all that without a proper large scale military operation at the border, because
a) Border doesn't exist in a physical. There are no walls,  plenty of cities\villages that have a border running through them and other stuff like that
b) Our Border guards... Well most people chose the job because you can get some nice bribes from contraband operastions... So fighting for country is not among their priorities
c) Border guards of Russia provide  assistance to armed groups crossing the border

Are you claiming that states only spend money on things that are better than alternative things the money could be spent on?

Because I don't think reality bears that one out.

And yeah, as Sergarr says below, being "supplied from Russia" doesn't even mean the Russian government would be footing the bill, and plenty of orgs in Russia would be more than happy to contribute to this sort of thing.

"You are a Russian agent" is a favorite game played  in Ukrainian politics. I think not a single politician or party avoided getting that label. Even Especially far right parties

What I think about Poroshenko? That he is a liberal Politician with X level of corruption. That X will be seen later but becoming billionaire in a 100% honest way is impossible in Ukraine. He is a step ahead from Yanukovitch but for me he is only a step toward before getting European Israel (or European South Korea)

Can he be an agent? Not likely. I think he is not a stupid uneducated Yanuck that is easy to control. But he may chose the way that will ensure that he and his oligarch friends\allies will lose less and Ukraine will lose more. Like, you know, negotiate low natural gas prices and trade preferences in exchange for Crimea and part of Ukrainian sovereignty in Eastern regions and get "peace" until Putin decides to take more few years later during the next political crisis

Honestly, this woman needs to stop giving away all our secrets.  Sure we dont want Scotland and England both fielding broomball teams but that doesn't mean the muggles need to know how we feel.  It's a miracle the muggles haven't set up a daily tourgroup in diagon alley yet.  I'm just glad to be on this side of the pond where the names of our schools aren't in popular novels and we call the correct sport Quidditch.
