Those advocating a return to slavery are rather rare, but you just have to look in the right places. You can generally find them waving Confederate flags in their front yard.

Waving a Confederate flag does not mean you advocate slavery.

I didn't say that it did >.> It's a good place to start looking though.

My father in law WOULD raise a confederate flag if everyone wouldn't immediately assume he's racist. You can't escape the symbolism associated with it.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Don't tell me you want the South to secede too.

Oh no, no, no, well... maybe.

I'm just saying that Lynyrd Skynyrd didn't necessarily want slavery and such.

I don't think there's anything OwlBread doesn't want to secede.

Well, maybe parts of Scotland :P

Actually parts of Scotland are ok, if any areas like the Northern Isles or something want to become independent that's their right.

I don't see any reason as to why your southern parts shouldn't be able to secede either, should enough people there want to.

I think the coastline should depart. They would get a way higher standard of living without the inner Scots stealing all their oil money.

If that's not injustice I don't know what is.

The immigrants are really better off staying where they are. Literally.
Must I state the obvious? These immigrants are willing to brave the ocean in makeshift rafts and toy rubber boats, and keep doing it after decades with countless of them drowning or dying of exposure in the way. That should give you a hint on how awful it is where they come from.

Yeah that's absolutely fine with me again, I don't consider Edinburgh and places like that to be part of Scotland anyway. You can draw a line around Dumfries and Galloway, basically the entirety of the borders and Edinburgh and just call it quits. I'd also like to place bombs around the whole of Fife and just fuck it right off into the middle of the sea.

City states are usually the way to go, but the problem here is that if you did that you'd be faced with a (comparatively) vast country with only about 5 city states controlling things. All that territory would be reduced to Mad Max style wastelands with modern clan chieftans ruling their towns as demigods.

Again though, really, just do that thing the Covenant did in Halo where they "glass" planets, but just glass Dundee and the whole of Fife. That will probably solve most of the world's problems.

Jesus Christ I had no idea that existed. To let you understand that's like showing me "Tomorrow Belongs To Me" from Cabaret.
