Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

If Sal can keep the sword masters attention, the dude is literally no threat. With the Def gain, if Sal uses a spear he takes 0 damage from the guy.

Sage is another matter though. Sal can actually hit the sword master with his javelin, but the Tiron won't be able to get vuln'ed, nor anyone else down south (if he can reach Danya). He has a single shot concoction and a vuln, I'm thinking the concoction is bested used on our resident call magic'er while Danya gets a vuln. Unless we want to go attack-attack.

Edit: Good news, Sal can indeed reach Danya, and in such a way as to block off that way from the enemies. Maybe I'll get to see Sal's inner tank come out.

Okay, if Operation: Mage-B-Gone is statistically sound, we should get started on it. Sal has to move first, then Seyena, then Valor.

As a note to Powder's question: Seyena can kill the druid, but it end her surrounded by enemies and leaves the sage above free to roam. Olison can provided he isn't hit in the exchange, which is a heavy bet and leaves a hole.

On plan Mage-B-Gone, I only wish to note that you are relying on a crit to one hit the bishop. You will survive the exchange either way though. Come the enemy turn though, the bishop in the snow can strike and down you, and the bishop you fought (provided he's not killed) may down Seyena.

I'll have a close to 70% crit rate. Pretty sure I got that one.

Edit: Wait, does my pure water wear off before the enemy phase or after?

Fair enough. Commencing operation.

Edit to your edit: player phase, not enemy, because it was applied during a player phase.

So I'll have it through the next enemy phase. Groovy.

EDIT: Gamer, have Seyena commence her part of Operation: Mage-B-Gone.

Which I believe is handing the heal staff over to Matilda and attacking the sage, if I recall right?

Affirmative.

EDIT: Oh, I love when a plan comes together.

The great and holy Critzalcoatl has seen fit to bless our struggle. Because we've yet to make an attack this player phase that isn't a crit.

Time to probably break that streak. Question is to break it against one of the flanking guys to the west or keep holding the east.

East, in my opinion. Even if both went after the optimal choice of the two, they can't get any further their round than to attack.
