For a brief moment yesterday I considered making Fire Emblem on Forums: Magic the Gathering card game where you would have common creatures and spells like Lvl1 Soldier and Thunder Book, and then you would have uncommons like promoted classes and A-rank weapons/books.

And FEF Cast would be legendaries, maybe even with two forms, for example 'Seyena the Flying Stretcher' and 'Seyena the Sky Valkyrie'.

Oh oh and even jokingly thought about Charlotte's card:

But a) I'm not creative enough to do anything else and b) Really, being called by my character's names somehow feels appropriate for my minuscule presence on this forum =V

Haha, well, that's an appropriate effect for Sal.

I think it may be the avatars though, considering people do think of Praef as Tant, Sirus as Gregor, and Crimson as Olison, and they all have their character's mugs as their avatars.

I'm not sure that extends to battle sprites, since I don't think anyone's called Gamer Seyena yet.

...I suggest Etherlords game mechanics. It's more creature-oriented than M:TG and is more about combatcombatcombat than 'prepare combos and countercombos or lose horribly'.
