Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

...I think I know of a way out of this.

It involves Benny Hill music, and running like hell. :v

You forget the threat of paralysis.

So, if/when it comes down to it...

Do we abandon those who get paralyzed, or do we go all U.S armed forces on them and leave no man behind?

Also, where do I move Seyena? Out the door Chris unlocked, or to the back of the group?

What paralysis? You guys are sticking your head in the sand for something that isn't even a thing yet, isn't even present beyond hinting by the GM. None of the bishops have it. None of them. I checked, I double checked, I control-f checked, nothing. Check for yourself: http://pastebin.com/uy00YrTc

The person who has the biggest risk of being paralyzed used pure water, the chances of him being paralyzed dropped like a rock. The chance of which we don't even know, because such a staff isn't currently present.

I'm seriously mystified by this despair really.

Would this be a lot easier if Preaf read the plans instead of just moving along? Yeah. But what can yah do you know? Just gotta work with what you got. Or play hard and fast with the rules by having someone be the go-between by trading taking the ring from Tant and giving it to Raquel.

Derick moves to where Charlotte was, takes ring from Tant, then immediately gives ring to Olison. Olison moves north and gives ring to Raquel, and Raquel continues with the plan.

You're being trapped into inevitability before it's inevitable. I figured last map would of taught us something there, but it seems not.

Assured kill on this melee unit blocking the kill on the bishop. Edwin can sleep the archer. The other archer only saw the door open, from that distance all he knows is that someone's leaving.

Can he sound the alarm? Sure, but that's something to deal with then, not bite your nails over something you can't change. "What if"'s are your enemy, not your friend. Can you blame Powder all day for something stupid he did? Yeah. Would this change a thing? No. Stressing about the past changes nothing about the future, beyond feeble attempts to put it off.

I'm sorry if I seem short, I'm not, but this situation lost it's humor.

Wait, none of the bishops have a paralyze staff?

From what it sounded I thought the two present had them.

Well, I think that's the first time a rant of mine garnered applause. :v

But seriously guys, look at the map. It took me a minute, a single minute, to figure that out. I'm not a smart person, so I know you guys can do it too.

Hell, I personally think Culise and Crimson are better strategists than me, I was exceedingly happy when they took the reins.

What happened to that spitfire and  vigor that I saw last chapter? Hell, I didn't do much that chapter but I had fun because I saw everyone fired up about making damn sure everyone was going to get out alive. Where is that spirit? I know it's there.

I'm really sorry I haven't been as in on this for the last day. It hasn't been a good day as far as my job security's concerned :(.

Furt's going to have to use the Blade Ring and offload another item to Gregor for this to work. Posting.

Don't be sorry about real life intervening man, it takes precedence. I wish you the best with whatever's going on with your job Crimson.

It doesn't have to be Furt who takes the ring, really anyone who can reach Olison. So Riven can do it if needed, really.

I am kind of worried if the ring ends one's turn however. Technically that's using an item...

If you want my opinion on how this should go down, have Derick give Gregor his key, take Tant's ring, trade ring with Olison for whatever, and cap his turn off with using his ring. Just to be safe.
