Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Then Alex comes in and love triangle.

Because FEF is the only game where love triangles isn't just amusing RP drama, its power gaming. :v

Please no? I'm wracking my brain trying to think of a plausible way Gregor could react to that little tidbit. It isn't easy without either looking like a jerk or a doormat :V

Sounds like a plausible reaction to me, utter confusion and completely no idea of how to take it, ranging between wondering if he should be alright with it or pissed and how that might affect their relationship.

To be honest, I kind of want to see how Gregor would react to that as well.

Yep.

So, do we have a battle plan yet for the Sage? I'm confused as to how any of us are safe at any time, since with a MOV of six, it has an effective range of 15 squares.

What is this, Days of Our Lives? :P
Up to Haspen, I guess. Or Alexander if he wants to be an ass and quite possibly wreck his only two friendships at the moment.

Are there rules for shattering supports?

Probably not, but I have a hard time thinking of anything more likely to ruin a friendship than ruining your friends' pseudo-romantic relationship.
I'm talking IC here of course, not OOC.

Well yeah. Obviously.

I think Gregor and Charlotte could get past it though, provided Charlotte manages to spit out that she was only doing it to distract the guard and try to escape at some point.

Unless that gets brought up right away though (and Gregor believes it, though I'm not sure why he wouldn't), it would cause some tension as accusations and fights get thrown about. But yeah, eventually things might work out.

...and here I thought I hated soap opera drama.

And the Sage just stands there.

"Funny, I don't remember using this thing..."

EDIT: wait a sec everyone, swap back to your dinky weapons where you can!
