Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Yeah, it'd have to be close to the border for the little sneak attack to have any chance of succeeding.

~~Lore Facts of the World of FEF~~

Menelea and Berebia are monarchies with the King on the top. The aristocracy have it's own hierarchy system; Dukes and Duchesses are often first-hand relatives of the current ruler (aunts/uncles, cousins, siblings).

Counts and Countesses are further relatives. Both of these might or might not have a 'Choose One' ancestor. Prixima was lucky in this regard.

Barons are most often landowners or traders that are important/wealthy enough to gain notice of the King. Duchies and Counties are under direct orders from the King, and Baronies often have a Duke/Count associated with them.

So the order would be:

Code: [Select]
   King
    |
    x--Duke
    |
   Count
    |
  Baron(s)

In Deynastia, the order is even simplier: There's a King, and below him, are Nobles, aka wealthy landowners of various lineage, wealth and assets.

AH, found it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Okay, my assumption was there was a Menelean capital where the royal family lived. I could be wrong and it could be one of those other cities/places, but this seems like it.

Cities with squares are capital cities where the Royal family resides.

Berebia - Horenn
Menelea - Garnes
Deynastia - Deya

Merr is the largest city of Mercia and also place where Council gathers for the meetings, but most of the Council members live at the countryside.

Think we should get a Tantallos / Chris C-Rank, Hasp? Just asking because it seems like the poor dude could use a support, and the two of them have talked quite a bit about various things. ^^^ I would push for a B-Rank between Chris and Ami, but they haven't really had a chance to interact much the last few fights because of various reasons... :-\

I'm feeling very uncomfortable right now. Not being railroading by Haspen is giving me supreme feelings of paranoia.

It seems to me that Alexander and Olison are well on the way to a support.
