Sit with the man or try to convince him to join you, games are short, friendship lasts a lifetime.

"No thanks, I don't wanna play your game, instead you should follow me around and basically do my bidding."

Either play the game or just leave.  Don't make poor Solifuge create sprites for something were simply watching and not actually participating in.

We will play it, just not tonight. Why?

1. We're not sure how long a game is and don't want to be forced to stick around past dinnertime.
2. It's good to get a good feel of the game before playing.
3. This sounds like an active game, possibly something like football*. Do you really want to run around and get all banged up before hauling a pretty good load of explosives for a few hours?

*American Football...what do they call it across the Pond, anyway?

They call it "American Football" or "Handegg" if they're feeling snarky.

First off we'd have to lose ALL of our hit points before we even take a wound, I doubt that will happen in a sport played by monks.  Lost hit points will be healed when we rest, so they won't effect us at all.  (based on something i remember reading but could of made up.)

Second, we got a good feel, it's a glorified red rover, not to mention we are good with a stick and our hands, so we're set to not be terrible at this game.

Also, we should ask the monk to join as well, "fighting" together is a much better way to build trust and friendship then watching a game.

We'd probably get pretty smelly, though.

Yeah no.

We isn't really important, just cause we earn his trust doesn't mean we "hire" him right away, we work on it over a few days.  You know like how real people form bonds.

Sorry, "We" was my main point.

Also dude fishes for a living, and were gonna probably be eating fish.  You aren't gonna be the only thing that stinks.  Plus that's what post shower's are for!

Before anyone points out that they wouldn't shower after a game, let me remind you that they probably wouldn't shower ever, and bathe rarely.

Hence why playing an exhausting sport is a bad idea. Fish stinks. Sweat is just impolite.

I didn't mean hire him, I meant ask him of he wanted to play with us on the court.
