Adventurer: The Quest - The dogs of war
« on: January 29, 2013, 06:30:53 pm »

Finally, the time has come. The time for adventure and glory! You shall venture out and complete thy quest! Which is... uh... yeah, you got so excited about this whole adventure business that you forgot what you were supposed to do. Oh well, looks like you'll just have to go out, do some heroic things and maybe try to remember what the quest was. One way or the other, soon all will know your name, which is... well, you are quite forgetful today. Why don't we start with something else, such as your intrests, where you are, your gender or how do you plan to fight the bad guys? Can't remember that either? What kind of adventurer are you?

How about you try remembering all that before you go out and get yourself killed?

You are Binzak Hairybasements, Male.
Your quest is to kill 10 of the elusive giant rats.
You are a paladin.
You enjoy walking, hitting people in the breastbone with your dire flail, and inventory management.
You abhor people named Joe.

Written from our Hero's perspective:

My Name is Saryd Nyx - i chose it for it's foreign sound and less used consonants.
My Quest, which i have accepted only since it pays well, is to explore the nearby crypt, because the villagers are afraid of it. Who knows, maybe i can discover some magical items that will help me to become the next overlord, so i can end all wars!
I am very Interested in magical items, the fay and how to abuse them and anything that will make me more powerful.
I am of course a magic user. I have trained for a long time under the village ma ... i mean under an archmage, whose name is too complex to speak without three mouths.

Sorry for the delay.

After a long time thinking, you finally remember: You are a man, named Thi Neme, cousin of the great wizard Ensert Neme. You've had quite an intresting history, being a failed cleric, failed bartender, failed paladin and was working as a (rather successful) dog shepherd when you decided to become an adventurer. Your weapon of choice is a dire flail and your pack of trained dogs. You also enjoy walking and pointless inventory management, two qualities no adventurer can go without. You quest, given to you by the Great Dog Shepherd In The Sky is to find and slay the dreaded crazy cat lady, and her furry minions.

What shall you do?
