You examine your room.
Your room is simple and relatively unadorned. You don't have any favorite bands, nor Television shows you particularly like. In fact, you rarely if ever watch television. The last time you watched anything but the news, it was a HELLO MORNING episode. It struck you as childish and silly.
Instead, your room is filled with books. Books under the bed, in the closet, and on shelves lining the walls. There are simply lots of books. You've already read your whole collection though, so usually you go to the library. It's quiet there, and you don't feel as out-of-place as you do in the loud confines of your classroom.
The Ruby Doll is sitting on a shelf. It stares at you with the blank gaze all dolls have.
There's a textbook on your desk. Lately you've been learning American Sign Language. For some reason, the only Sign Language at this school is American. JSL isn't understood here.
Get ready for school.
You shake yourself from your reverie. School is about to start!
You almost run out of the door with a piece of toast in your mouth before you realize class is only in the next building. You force yourself to slow down and eat your toast before rushing down the hall.
You have stubed your toe! You fume silently for a minute before continuing.
You open your door.
The hallway outside is painted a warm, rusty color. Random pieces of artwork, likely painted by students such as yourself, are scattered about. Many are modernist or abstract works. It can be difficult to paint detailed works for the kind of people who go here.
Miyu-san is there. She says hello.
