Ok, no universal boon granting, that was only an option. But what about boosting our economy with like 10 minor plant life boons for our farmers?

20 mana daily is almost nothing,  and this guys will have the impact for our economy. And the whole idea = we have enough food,  no need to improve agriculture is ridiculous. Our agriculture is megauniversal

Life booned can grow trade goods, they can grow houses, they can grow a palisade, they can boost stems to saps, that can invent new plants, they can tend for the fire tree, they can build plant based roads. And all that in background. And they'll become better and better while improving their skills
And they will be useful in combat, too...

Say we set up a traditional meat and dairy industry, then added meat and dairy producing trees to, i could see a use for life-boon farmers then.

I could see a use for life boon farmers in spice and dye industries.

I could see a use for life boon'ed people in growing housing/defenses/infrastructure....


HOWEVER

we are nowhere near the time where we need 10 (or more) life boon specialists to do this.

We dont have those industries set up, we already have too much housing and we already have roads to where we want then thanks to Kraits people, the dwarves and Serena's people.

The life boons we give them allows them to grow things we've made, or natural things. Not make new things. I say this from looking at what Eldrick has been able to do.

which reminds me. We also need to set up a dye industry (a profitable industry on its own, with the ability to up our clothing income) and a spices industry.

That's what our villagers can do themself, if we grant them life boons

i'd personally like to personally oversee the initial setting up of all our industries. what our booned people do after that, as long as it isnt detrimental, is their business.

I'd be okay with handing out some life boons.  Maybe a small number of combined chaos, fire and plant boons as well if we have any inventors in the town.  I feel like they could make cool little creations with those boons combined that we may not have thought up.

and as for Serena's Offer : 4
I think we should do it, but under several conditions.
1) we should still be able to produce and trade all nectar related finished goods
2) Her people need to share the profits (only a small amount though, nothing too significant).
3) Her poeple, when trading, need to make it known that Serena isnt responsible for the nectar, we are and therefore the peoples thanks should go to us as well as Serena (as her people were the ones who made the powerful potions but we produce the nectar and base materials).

I'm too tired to think of other conditions.

So I find myself slowly being swayed by Ukrainian rangers words. I dont like the thought of giving boons to ALL the things (err followers)
but preparing them incase our saps and stems wont hold. means they need to start learning now.

how about instead of ALL THE BOONS, Azula and Eldrick both get a few 'pupils' half a dozen of fire wielders for Azula, and half a dozen of Life wielders for Eldrick.

it keeps things manageable, its less extreme in costs and in the long term if we're happy where its going it can be scaled up.

I prefer combat mages\fortification operators\troop supporters to front-line troops. They never should be used as cannon fodder

But I'd be happy to have combat capable worshipers as many as possible. Preferably booned
