Also, have Cherish heal Riltia and Slog (who is in 1-hit-kill territory - well, with 4d4 attacks on the table, we all are, but especially Slog), put a Bulwark on Riltia, and, and... erm... give that tie to Al as well.

Between the random speech style changes, creepy portrait, and (possibly involuntary?) deceit, I think it's likely that Riltia is suffering from a split personality, demonic (angelic?) possession, or something weirder.

Thinking more about it, Yandere Triangle Riltia and the mysterious figures also imply that there's something up with her.

A split personality would certainly count as a narrative gimmick, as well.

Edit: It just hit me. Riltia prayed to a goddess, right? Wasn't it a goddess statue that wanted us to kill her?
