Ripriver, Spitfire and Windsong.

Water, Fire and Air.

We're still missing one of the classical elements, so I'm guessing the "King" they mentioned is probably earth-themed.

"Highwater" doesn't seem too earth-sounding to me.
Yes, apparently King Highwater is dead, so I propose that before doing anything else, we should ask if the King they mentioned is King Highwater or someone else.

+1, if so, bring up Ecco's claim.

There's a point. If Ecco really is using his "signal isolator" to encourage the Serabella siblings' disunity, then that suggests that they're normally much more organzed and agreeable (of course, it could just be part of Ecco's ridiculous and over-indulgent extended metaphor.)

We need to bear this manipulation in mind during any future diplomatic encounters!

I'd note that Ecco rhymed there, though it may have not been intentional.

Is symphony/harmony a rhyme? Only the last syllable of three matches.

Pretty sure that is the definition of a rhyme, or at least, one of them.  ^_^

I say "one of them" because you can also distinguish between perfect or imperfect (both sound and stress); single or double (syllables rhymed); tonal, eye, or mind; or so forth...there are quite a few ways to rhyme.

Ecco rhymed there [with symphony/harmony]

It's debatable, because the rhyming part (-ony) doesn't include any stressed syllables. Wikipedia suggests a distinction between a perfect rhyme and a general rhyme, general rhymes including devices that are often not considered as rhymes - like assonance and alliteration as well as rhymes on unstressed syllables. In this case we'd have a general rhyme, but a rhyme on unstressed syllables is often enough for rhymed poetry.

As you rightly point out, it's hard to judge whether it's intentional, as it's impossible to avoid phonetic similarities between words in normal speech. In my view, Ecco was aiming for frilly but not rhyming speech.

hmmm... Well, I should know more about this from memory, having studied Linguistics, but apparently I suck at these kinds of literary devices, so back to Wikipedia...

I think they've slipped slant rhyme in before, so I don't see an issue with a weak rhyme.

You Mario-stomp the Checkpoint, sorta, but it's already been activated. It's the same save point that Ripriver carried off. Or did he? Ciro cuts the vine and tries to harvest some vine, but she doesn't have nearly enough inventory space. She needs 2 slots to hold the rolled up vine.

Spitfire floats off to the west. Prince Windsong joins the party! He volunteers his illusion skills to your aid.

Or we could wrap it around Riltia's spear. It wouldn't take up inventory space and the vine would let her double if not triple its range.

Eat one of the vine flowers. Have Goom-bess scan the vine.

Wait, we're playing as Ciro, right?

Cherish: Keep Al distracted.
Windsong: Create an illusion of Al and have it talk to that ghost lady, getting it to spill all of Al's secrets while we eavesdrop on the conversation between ghost-lady and "Al".
