So, the levelup potion increases SLVL (Soul level?), MHP, MSP, and class skills. As covered before, Cherish probably shouldn't be our priority for improving, as she isn't terribly important; free healing near SP fountains is nice, but far from crucial. I'd actually motion for upgrading Ciro here. I'm also curious to see what Al would get.

Some notes (separate post because that one can be left for just scan results):

1)  The requirements for tiers are listed. I think they're "and" requirements, since Al has 3s required for both his last ranks.  Never mind:  Check this out.  Al indeed tiered up when he hit 5 skill.

Unless his soul level was already one.

2)  Cherish's autoheal is tier 2, which we couldn't get her to with what we have.

I have the feeling that everyone with a soul has at least 1 soul level.
Which would mean that by bringing her main stat to 5 she would tier up.

Also apparently deviation from class template means the abilities aren't exactly as described.

RILTIA HAS LEVELED UP! This is an almost completely meaningless term.

Riltia gains the following benefits:

+2 Max SP
+4 GUARD

Riltia needs 1 more GUARD to gain her second Class Skill.

Let me throw this out here as well.  A scan of Riltia would be enlightening, assuming it actually gave us useful information.

Also, this may be the actual explanation.  Chugging the potion would make one person a lot more useful, though.

Considering it gave *four* points in a skill, it's probably a good idea to use that potion first.

This is why Cherish needs the levelup potion first; she doesn't actually HAVE a Heal stat now, so the stat point would just go to either HP or SP, and nuts to that.
