Please do not do quote pyramids. It's not funny and it detracts from the time Toady One have to code DF.

Small quote stacks are fine. Once they achieve pyramid status, they are not fine.
AKA 4+ nested quotes is not fine. 3 or less is fine.

Building a large pyramid for silliness sakes is fine every ONCE IN A WHILE, if it doesn't get TOO big.

Try pounding a soul star into Auntie's door.

Insert homoerotic innuendos related to "pounding" here.

If Madoka Magica is anything to go by, that'd kill us instantly.
If FFS' old commentary is anything to go by, we'd become whatever we smashed.(unless an Angel ate our Soul before we could finish the Smashing)

Smash it into Oric, become Awesome?

Attention, Monk!

You're missing an update between these two:
Update 2.7.59 Residential area in Underside
Update 2.7.60 Limerick lunacy

Getting caught up, I was VERY confused.

Yes, I can see how that image could use some introductory context :P Thanks for letting me know about the discontinuity.

Sigh.

Only one thing: +1 for research bloodshaping, but only after finishing our business in Underside. Gombess and Slog can stay and research (we can ask for researching specific thing, right?) whole bloodshape thing. Only problem with this plan is that FFS may demand higher price for researching specific thing with bigger benefits. Like requiring Ciro staying too (how you can research without, er, experiment subject?). In that case we would have to shift to Al or something.

But all of this, as I said, after crashing Auntie's party. :) I am in fact looking forward to it - it is about time to get to know new people. Maybe Chief is at party too?

Summary of ways to get to party, in order from most preferred to least (by me):
  • Try to dig in garden. Even if we cannot make tunnel under house, we are bound to find something interesting. Right?
  • Try to open door and reason with robot.
  • Break door and force way in. I would prefer to use it as last resort.
Any other ideas?

Ciro had a nose at one point in the story, which makes that comment all the more strange.
It makes the poetic verse even more strange too. Becaue Ciro has both ears and a nose.
Though noseless you find you can't smell
Your earlessness proves to be swell
As Warrens is packed
With noise that detracts
From concentrating on your spells

A deformed and tiny nose and ears, just like every other part of that grotesque picture. Sorry there haven't been any updates. I'm about to head off to a farm for a while, and FEF2's extra FFS-hosted mission is at its climax. We may see updates pick up either next week or next month, but it'll definitely be in that time range.
