I'm fairly sure Yaos is an Intellectual Trap. Basically a subset of trap that is reserved for sorcerers, wizards, and scholars who don't ever confirm their genders but act all intellectual.
...Huh? Who here would fall into that kind of trap?

Also it might be possible that he isn't dead, we never found a corpse, and seeing as how this story seems to be heavily trope based, then it may follow the Not Dead Till You See The Body trope may be in effect. Same with whatsherface at the beginning, Mili/Mill/however you spell that. We lost track of the body. It is entirely possible she revived after us or formed elsewhere.
First off, we're pretty damn certain that Milli's body was used to make Ciro v 2.0. Second off, we fought Willborn Yaos. It's possible that we'll find him, but...well...not bloody likely.
Or is Yaos a she? I remember confusion on that point.

He means the trope kind of Trap. A character that looks like one gender but turns out to be the other.

I'll grant that "Dropped A Bridget On Him" was on the first page, but every other reference on the first few pages is in reference to trappy kinds of traps. You hit xkcd and Cracked before anything else. And I have no clue why Dropped A Bridget On Him was on the first page, since A. "trap" isn't anywhere on the page and B. it's not even a real trope anymore.

you kept the obvious trap entry

and didn't fall for it

* LordSlowpoke opens dictionary

* LordSlowpoke rips out the page with "smug" in it

* LordSlowpoke replaces with GWGs avatar

Huh. I thought there was a trope for it. It is a pretty notably used term on certain parts of the internet though. I think more in the anime-ish parts of it, but I could be wrong there.

There is a Trap tv tropes page for the gender related kind.

Visit Auntie: +Consensus

You remember which house was "Auntie's" because that robot thing went into it earlier.

You hear some loud banging and clapping from beyond the door - without your explicit consent. You're afraid this is in direct violation of Party Code, section 4B, subsection A2, line forty:

"Thou shalt not make jolly combat without thy Leader's blessing"

Unfortunately, the door is locked. Wait - why would someone lock the door to a house party?

(Bloodshape: 10+2 BLOOD) You make the Hemiglo-bore. It costs 5MHP (even though the illustration says MSP)! That's pretty pricey for what it does. What does it do, anyway? You hand the Cheery Tree Leaves to Slog for the moment.

(Knowledge: 14) Goom-bess has you covered.

Modern RPGs developers are such chuffs. Why would they let you get items that you can't use for five more chapters?

The door opens just long enough for Al and Cherish to POWER SLIDE out.

WE HAVE TO USE THE TERRAFORMER TO DIG A TUNNEL UNDER AUNTIE'S HOUSE AND SNEAK IN.

THIS MUST HAPPEN.
