+1 to Bloodshaping a mouse.

If it works, we know that our power can create something "living". If it fails, oh well. What's a little blood loss?

After this, we should try to bloodshape a robot. I'm pretty much 100% sure the mouse will fail, but I think it's worth a shot. On the other hand, a robot is an inanimate object, and we've been bloodshaping those all along.

I'm for bloodshaping oddball things for testing them out, but this isn't the time.  Let's go follow up on Auntie.

-1 bloodshaping in general, right now.

A robot is, however, a much more complex inanimate object than any we've Bloodshaped. Sure, some fire lasers, but those are easy if you add magic to the mix. It's just a beam of coherent light! Moving parts? Lots of moving parts? Microchips? Those are tough, more complex to even envision.

It would be easy to give it laser vision, though.

What about a golem? Just replace the moving parts and microchips with magic.

Golems that can't move tend to work poorly.
And then we're getting closer to "animate object" than "inanimate object".

How about a magically propelled sphere? Only requires magic to move or stop, useful as a tripping hazard.

We should probably test if we can alter a bloodshape from afar without reabsorbing it. Or if it requires reabsorption, whether we could create a small unit that absrobs and bloodshapes things for us at a distance.

That's a good way to test if we can make animate objects.

Huh...I wonder if we can bloodshape a golem or something and feed it a part of our soul charge to animate it?  We could have Slog, and Bloodslog!
