Ripriver continues his ritual incantation. (Heal: 1+1) Meanwhile, Cherish directs a healing light toward Al as you climb on his head. Al grumbles but says nothing. The Valkyrie feints! You are caught mid-dodge against a fake attack. It will be more difficult for you to dodge its next attack.

Though you've said little this battle, it shows the strength of your party's connection. You feel a warm glow from your Astral Influx.



You know, it would be very easy to experience the story from another perspective. Just a single tap and your consciousness links with another. How would the story turn out if we veered off path? Selected Riltia or Proxxy? You're starting to worry about both of them. They disappeared on DL3. Why did Riltia leave you to chase down Oric and Proxxy? What if you never know? What if she's dead? Didn't you worry about this before? You did. You remember thinking someone was dead again, and again, and again, but it never happened. What if it's happened? What if Riltia tried to get revenge on Proxxy for kidnapping her, and Oric cut her open?

So, looks like the Voice has shown up on the Influx.

Maybe characters who hate Ciro (or the current bearer of the Astral Influx, dunno which) can't be selected? Or maybe we need to have seen their Soul Star?

Also, I have a suggestion: we go back to the town so that people can work, and then switch to Riltia.

By the way, I think Riltia took the Drop. We should be able to go back to DL3 without facing "fun" since Cain is still active, and we could ask the (admittedly rather unhelpful) angel.
