Everyone: Attack the Hellyfish.
Cherish: Give the helmet to Goombess, who seems to be running low on health.

To elaborate:

Ciro: Mid range, shotgun away
Al: Mid range (hopefully far enough from Ciro to avoid potential Splash damage,) Bartering Ram attack
Cherish: Get sexy ring back from Ripriver, Melee attack
Goombess: Don't get killed! Take Polar Eye from Cherish, retreat to far range and Scan Ripriver

((I don't think heating something that is right above us to a ridiculous degree is very smart. Worst case scenario we become +metal statues+. This is a finely crafted metal statue. It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

Erm, it says to stay out of medium range...  We'd probably be better off having Ciro and Al get into melee range as well.

Yeah, besides, we have +2 guard, so remember to do that. A lot. 2 DR is a lot.

Hang on. If we took the bartering ram, and added a plant essence to it, would we create a Battering Yam?

How about:
Ciro - shoot Hellyfish with shotgun
Al - Mangle Hellyfish with Bartering Ram
Cherish - Stand in front of Al and Ciro. Guard.
Goombess - hide in back. Take Polar Eye and scan Ripriver.

Does anyone remember what the plant-thing does?

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Hey, guys. I've got a reason for going to retrieve slog! If we go there, we can bloodshape a shiny new whatever while we're up there!

Does the limited checkpoint count incoming teleports as well as outgoing?

HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.

Why is everyone so intent on getting into medium range with it?  In the tattle it specifically warns us to stay out of medium range.
