Then, don't go through the South door. We don't want to get whisked off to another floor with no return before this one is taken care of. Rather, peek and see what's on the other side.

Also, again, ask about the "weirdos" Al saw dive into the water. Let's confirm an ID on them!

Goom-bess rushes off north. Meanwhile, you peek south. Between the slits of the door, you can see... some kind of grey guy/girl standing around in a kind of darkish, blueish area. Huh.

Al has quite a few titles. That last one rubs you the wrong way, though...

Search the dead hellyfish.  Stick head in water to see what's down there.

You can't quite get a good look with just your head in, so after confirming the Hellyfish contains nothing of interest, you take another dip. You see some sort of device floating just under the east wall.
