The target, wanted dead by all siblings under the order of Oric.
Ciro, a blank slate, connected to the soul of the Target. Every cycle, the target must die, in order to begin anew; albeit with reprogrammed memories, which are preset as a constant to each cycle.
You are this guy and/or girl. You have traveled for some time from your land, the Kingdom of Haria, to the dungeon you now stand in: the Warrens of Oric the Awesome. You do not know who Oric the Awesome is, but if he's so awesome, he probably has awesome loot, too.
First, a few questions.

In each cycle, the Target must defeat a series of challenges(the Siblings) and eventually defeat Oric, an almost impossible feat, as the Target is never at full potential and Oric is always in absolute control of the Target's destiny.
As the Target reaches different levels on the Soul Star, the Target becomes closer and closer to being a close to his/her true form, and the spirits which dwell inside; unlocking speech, self-realization, lips,free thought, and an enhanced/more realistic personality.
So while Ciro has the Target, Ciro is not yet fully the Target, the two closest times Ciro has come to becoming the Target, were after revival and during Spirit Duel.

Although because Al revived us in an unauthorized manner, Ciro has become closer to the Target than Ciro should have ever been normally; even to the point of gaining insight into the personality(Souls?) of other people, knowing plot information on 'Willborn', and getting
unappropriate torso-gear
It looks like ciro has revived but there seems to be a mistake
His astral influx is active meaning his current memories are being confused with his past memories from the last few thousand cycles

class-appropriate torsogear to compensate. Actually... you're not sure this is really appropriate. Shouldn't it have blood symbolism on it?
The Target poses a threat to the system Oric has built, knowing the true traits of any person. Although eventually, by chance, Oric could always be dethroned by the Target, that is the least of his worries compared to what truly can be done by the Target.
Obviously, the greatest fear Oric feels the target possessing, would be revealing that Oric,
IS IN FACT, NOT AWESOME AS HE WANTS EVERYBODY TO THINK HE IS, AND IS ACTUALLY QUITE LAME; AND SUCH ACTIONS WOULD INSTANTLY REMOVE HIS +10 TO AWESOME, BEING AS LAME AS HE ACTUALLY IS And Oric just can't take that chance; no matter how minuscule of a chance it might be.
