Could it possibly be Cherish's soul star? Or Betweenford's?

Or maybe I'm just grasping at straws here.

I think you're on to something.

It matches her color scheme, Al knows this place well... I think Cherish is a strong possibility.

It's Mili's! She's the other corpse that would have been in there!

This loot feels like a trap, but HECK WITH IT

Also, FFS, Insolvent Thaumaturge didn't get added to the Menu list in the OP.

EDIT: Just realized something from when Riltia died:

Spoiler: Images (click to show/hide)

In the 3rd and 4th dialog boxes, ???? and !!!! both rhyme. Remind anyone else of Betweenford? This seems to solidify the theory that there are multiple "Angels", of which Betweenford is one. The fact that the 1st and 2nd dialog boxes don't rhyme bothers me, though.

Not like we'll be seeing it again anyway.

You grab the new star thingy. Great, more unbelievably obtuse and complex menu items. It looks like your bag is full up now unless you want to manage your inventory at Storage.

So you're saying, by defeating Yaos's soul in a spirit duel, we destroyed her soul star? Interesting.

Also, FFS, Insolvent Thaumaturge didn't get added to the Menu list in the OP.

Scoured the thread and found this:

Don't forget Spira!
The new soul star  seems like a teleporter....
It has coordinates, and requires visitation to the room!

Edit: literal translation of name: Makes things faster, without time passing.

A teleporter seems ridiculously useful. Perhaps if/when we go back to storage we should ask the guy if he knows the x & y coordinates of the room.

Oh right, Spira! So, what are the Angels for? To make sure that things don't go too far off track for the cycle's intended plot? Do they work for Oric, or are they an independent part of the Warrensverse?

And yay possible teleports! However, it has two sets of coordinates for its slots. Maybe from and to coordinates? But that doesn't make much sense, if it teleports the holder...

Hey maybe we shoould see if the numbers the statue rattled off...

You. I like you.
