Now that we can afford it, I think it might be a good idea to at least ask what exactly a bag of slot even is.

Ask what a fusion scroll is

I think we should consider either buying an inventory slot, or this bag of slots.

The shopkeeper says a fusion scroll is the most widely-available yet least reliable method of item crafting. It combines together two things and produces a result. The quality of the product highly varies, and that's why the price is so low.

Now that we can afford it, I think it might be a good idea to at least ask what exactly a bag of slot even is.

The shopkeeper says a Bag Full of Slot is a bag containing a random (1-4) number of additional Item Slots. Not only is it a cheaper method of getting extra inventory, but it also allows the user to easily trade multiple items to another person.

He also says the Bag Full of Slot is highly flammable and is not recommended as a full replacement for actual slots.

AKA Alchemy from MKW except less reliable since it's not handled by an expert alchemist like Crank.

Poor fellow.

Crank's Hyrule adventure was just the warm-up before the torture I still have planned for further dungeon levels.

If that is not the most un-subtle hint that we should try to get back onto the entrance floor for this item... - i mean, 600 pence, thats like half of what we have ever gathered up till now. So unless we want this as a long-term goal over the next 200 pages it really ought to be a sign. Or a whim.

Right! Let's ask Yaos how he got here and reclaim sweet loot. Also take the spell-book with us for levitation across that lava-pit, just in case.

Buy fusion scroll, fuse blood spell and persuasion ring, save a slot and be forever persuasive!

That episode is one reason I often advise caution.  And not to abuse GM generosity.

Ask about Class tree as well
guys.... Frizz+Spellbook of Breeze! Actual useful abilities! Or BloodShape+Frizz! Imagine the possibilities! (But we might get something that is absolute crap)

Do you really want a persuasion spell that requires MHP?
I would prefer A flaming Bloodshape.

Or we could fail and lose our massive GM-admittedly broken ring and our only useful ability.  That is a Terrible Idea.

Im pretty sure you can't fail, it could just produce a halfway useless result.
(Also curious about the results o combining and entire inventory)

The quality varies. Instead of a permanent bloodshape talisman of sexy, we'd get a ring of clotted blood and lose both the +5 persuasion and the ability to bloodshape things. You KNOW that's what would happen.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

I'm pretty sure rolling a 1 and ending up with a soulbound ring of blood-dripping would be considered by most to be a massive failure.

Also, we should probably go pull out the scanner and check Yaos.
