Or something like the Chris Houlihan Room from Legend Of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
That was actually how FFS compared it in a behind the scenes.

Maybe that was why that suddenly popped in my head at the end there. Lol.

This makes me wonder since they talk about the code and what the Reverant Savior looked like if this is more than a similarity to a video game. That the Warrens are programmed to work the way they do, but not just the rooms the whole thing. Like the Matrix...

Reverent Savior looks like it has corrupted coding, or even what happens what you try to open code using an incorrect format, causing an unreadable error.
Illborn and Siblings may have two different ways to be coded for their souls, which can lead to corrupted looking text if you think of everything as a format, or program.

Or maybe she was just corruputed during revival by Spira, and her/his countless siblings with a meta-plot that seems to conspire against Oric himself.

Hey hey hey I'm not totally dead!

You guys are getting good at the theory thing but none of you have won just yet. It's pretty obvious that the contest's primary goal - to draw the players' attention and interests to parts of the game and tidbits of the story they had glossed over - has far and away succeeded. With that out of the way, have a little update.

Befriend/Seduce Mysterious Blue Stranger!
Yeah, that seems to be the prevailing opinion.
Fuck, this changes the definition of Illborn entirely.

Head downward and do rush to diplomice the blue-clothed lady before she dissapears.

This girl almost HAS to be a sibling.
Also, iron chunks of Illborn corpse are worth mad lewtz! Take the iron corpse to the market and sell sell sell!

Since you can't think of anything else to do with the ore, you command Slog to take it to the market and bring back the goods. It briefly occurs to you that Slog has never refused a command. Maybe he'd be willing to solve some of your inventory management issues and keep you from constantly going back and forth between the Underside and DL2.

You eavesdrop on Blue Hair and Brown Hat until the right moment.

(Roll: 6+5 Sexiness) The girl literally falls backward. You choose to believe it was your stunning Precision Flirt Bomb that caused this.

Are you seriously going to stand here and take this abuse?

No. No way. Just because 11 wasn't enough Persuasion doesn't mean you're gonna give up. After all, you're Ciro Motherfucking Whatever Your Last Name Is, and you're...

Cool as a crab.

Aaaand they're gone. Slog returns with sweet loot and throws it your way. You add it to your stack. Maybe it's time to get back to adventure.

Spoiler: Party (click to show/hide)

Practice your rhyming skills since clearly you're at a level below Riltia if he ignored you like that.

I agree with both of the above posts. But not now, we can't carry glasses else we'd have to drop something. Get slog to put cash in bank, lets go check around town a bi--Wait, which house is Al's? We should break in see if there's any clues about the guy in there. Might help us out a bit.

Man, that blue-haired chick wouldn't know awesome if it slapped her in the face.

So let's not bother slapping her in the face.

As our favorite tanks are nowhere to be seen, I'm in favor of restoring a previous save to restore our health, and exploring D:2 in the hopes of more plot-relevant shenanigans/side character coupons.

Also, eight and ninth lights? Possible allusion to additional siblings? It does seem that each floor is loosely related to a sibling, and we know there's at least 8 floors- could be a clue that there's a ninth floor as well. Blue Chick's words are no doubt important, but I don't know as we can extrapolate anything new from them. Oric's in charge, he was not always in charge, he may not always be in charge. Which may be what this whole cycle business is about but -ERROR: INSUFFICIENT DATA-

I thought they might be like the DEFCON system, or the rose petals from Beauty and the Beast; when they finish, something enormous will happen, and it seems Oric will no longer be the Warden of this Prison no longer!
