This sounds good. The top one is presumably both harder to reach and harder to kill, so it makes sense to have Ciro nail it.

I think the one above is going to guard next turn, so we probably can't hurt it. If only we could do a Mario headbump on the block below it...

Maybe if we get Ciro to temporarily switch out the rifle and bloodshape a Hookshot or something we could pull it down off that ledge for the others to gang up on.

Holy shit. I caught up to this in about 4 days. This is pretty really fucking insanely awesome.

I also just realized something. "He is NEVER dead when he reaches you". This implies that we will reach Cain and that we have reached Cain before, reinforcing the cycles thing.

Riltia was originally a spear user...I vote we have her do a jump attack on the top met, like the dragoons in Final Fantasy.  Al can just try to jump up normally or something, while the rather injured Ciro should STAY in safety and shoot the vulnerable met.  Just have Slog try to learn healing, he's been in enough fights to unlock a new ability.

actually no it wouldn't be easier.
You know because we'd be kinda close! And so we would take a position penalty. Slog isn't gonna learn new skills just like that, he needs class skills and stuff, as there is no experience in this game. That means we'd have to get him a stat slot, and the needed stat points, which could be better distributed among other party members, like ciro to have more hp, and riltia to have more GUARD, and al to have more NATURE, seeing as how he probably just needs 2 points to go up a tier, and riltia most likely only needing 1 point to go up a tier.

So my suggestions are.

Yes. This will use the last of Slog's MP but we can fix that at the fountain afterwards.
