As diplomacy fails, you instead execute a fairly standard battle plan. Riltia tries to cast Locking Glass without the defense boost, but the defense boost is a non-optional part of the spell (which is why it's in red!) You and Slog back her up from a distance. (Attack: 10+2 Position, 3+2 damage) Your clot cutter shoots out a powerful laser blast fueled by the tears of impoverished med school graduates. Your accuracy is improved by staying at medium range behind Riltia. Polaris is taken aback by the ferocity of your strike. (Frizz: 1+2 Position) Slog happily casts Frizz, shooting out a burst of flame, but he aims into the air instead of toward Polaris. The Frizz spell explodes in a shower of orange fireworks.



Polaris leans forward and dashes toward Riltia. (Attack: 15-4 Guard, 2+1 damage) She guards against his blade with all her might, but his strike cuts through her defenses. Polaris cackles, a faint static coating each voice clip.

I think we should sink damage boost this guy will get and go with the plan I previously gave. We get a +2 to damage, so no matter what we'll still do damage. We'll have a much greater chance to hit as well, I think, due to his immobility.

But yeah, smash the crap out of him.

Eh... That would waste a turn. Best if Riltia just pummeled him I guess. Ciro keeps zapping him with the clot cutter, and Slog keeps frizzing. We need to get out of this corner though, else things won't look good for long.
