There's a point. If Ecco really is using his "signal isolator" to encourage the Serabella siblings' disunity, then that suggests that they're normally much more organzed and agreeable (of course, it could just be part of Ecco's ridiculous and over-indulgent extended metaphor.)

We need to bear this manipulation in mind during any future diplomatic encounters!

Pretty sure that is the definition of a rhyme, or at least, one of them.  ^_^

I say "one of them" because you can also distinguish between perfect or imperfect (both sound and stress); single or double (syllables rhymed); tonal, eye, or mind; or so forth...there are quite a few ways to rhyme.

Ecco rhymed there [with symphony/harmony]

It's debatable, because the rhyming part (-ony) doesn't include any stressed syllables. Wikipedia suggests a distinction between a perfect rhyme and a general rhyme, general rhymes including devices that are often not considered as rhymes - like assonance and alliteration as well as rhymes on unstressed syllables. In this case we'd have a general rhyme, but a rhyme on unstressed syllables is often enough for rhymed poetry.

As you rightly point out, it's hard to judge whether it's intentional, as it's impossible to avoid phonetic similarities between words in normal speech. In my view, Ecco was aiming for frilly but not rhyming speech.

hmmm... Well, I should know more about this from memory, having studied Linguistics, but apparently I suck at these kinds of literary devices, so back to Wikipedia...

You Mario-stomp the Checkpoint, sorta, but it's already been activated. It's the same save point that Ripriver carried off. Or did he? Ciro cuts the vine and tries to harvest some vine, but she doesn't have nearly enough inventory space. She needs 2 slots to hold the rolled up vine.
