Holy resurrection madness!!

I decided to try out Masterwork mod... these effects might be due to that, or might be due to the biome (serene and joyous wilds, I think)

I had a couple of idiot miners die in a cave-in early on.  For the next two years, they kept (apparently) resurrecting from their graves and then dying from their wounds again.  Over and over.  Until eventually they were just skeletons.  Still resurrecting but now suffocating.  One of them even keeps trying to clean herself and take care of her baby even though she's apparently a benignly animated skeleton.

The rest of the fortress is quickly spiraling into a tantrum spiral over these two (I guess)...

Yeah I believe masterwork adds some actual ressurection interactions for good areas. If the dwarves keep dying then you can always atom smash/lava them while they are dead/alive and it should solve the problem permanently (just make sure to slab them!).

This is good to know. I added those resurrections as a rather "rare" thing in good biomes, as an optional setting. I didnt realize they would die instantly. I will fix it.

Did you fix it by making it so they no longer ressurect?  Or do they come back to life healed up?

Well, I said I fixed it, not I removed it... I added a transformation into the mix, which should fully regenerate all bodyparts and bloodloss, and made it only targets that are fit for resurrection (was animation before) so skeletonized, older dead bodies shouldnt be allowed, and already targeted creatures cant be targeted again, which should stop the resurrection-spamming.

That said, I havent seen it ingame yet.

I would also like to request that this thread be moved into the modding section. Its not dwarf mode, its Masterwork Mod-mode ;)

right on.  I wasn't sure if it was Masterwork or just good biomes in general.
