Has anyone put up a Dwarf-to-English dictionary yet, so we don't have to search the raws for it?

Yep, I bookmarked the page from a thread like this one a while back. Some bay12er made it at some point. It only translates stuff from english into DF dwarfish though, not the other way around.

Explain Japanese?

Also, you may notice in-game that there is no conjugation, no case, no pronouns; it's extremely barebones at the moment.

Every lingual principle has an exception, language is weird that way.

It doesn't have 'the' or 'of' yet, either.

It's funny how much of language you take for granted before you learn a second language.  Yes, some real languages have no plurals.  Some languages have no gender for words we (English speakers) think of as being inherently gender-specific.  Other languages give gender to almost everything.
