Just died for the first time. Took few zombies to slow down the solar car I found.

My first death was to a zombie dog. I panicked when I saw acid rain and jumped into a house. I never saw it coming.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

For those that have no idea, New England is Massachusetts north, while ignoring New York.

I think it may also include Rode Island and Connecticut, but who cares about those?

Standing shoulder to shoulder the entire human population is about the size of Rhode Island. Are you saying "who cares about those?" If so, I'm with you. Humans should be much smaller than Rhode Island.

Agreed.  All of us must march to fulfill the ideals of Greater Rhode Island.  From Providence to Jersey, and beyond!

I'm much more in favor of artificially expanding the island with the corpses of those who disagree with this ideal. We've got way too many humans anyway.

On a side note I died in the most stupid way possible: After successfully making a spraycan flamethrower and filling it while under enemy fire, I used the car I siphoned as a cover from the npc, waiting for her to get within range, and then proceeded to blow myself as I fired, as vehicles are not fireproof and filled with gas. At least she died in the resulting inferno too.

Edit: Finally found how to make the prison a starting location! as it turns out I forgot to add the prison to the start_locations.json file. I might turn this into a complete mod now that It works, with a bunch of professions, scenarios, items and monsters.

I don't know and I'm as close to New England as you can get without being in New England.

Ask an Elder God, maybe? They usually hang around there.

As it turns out I severely underestimated the difficulty of prisons as a starting location, with all those brutes and turrets. I classed it as a challenge.

On other news I'm making quite a lot of progress, with two professions and a scenario completed. I'm quite surprised by how easy it is to mod in this game, the hardest part for me is finding the ids I need

Someone needs to go at it with some steel wool until it looks suitably Cataclysm.
