I see that withered plants can now be used as binding. Is there any plans on having bushes drop plant fibers? That could help wilderness characters while they aren't able to make good weapons or tools yet.

That would be nice. Maybe I'll mod in a craft to turn withered plants into plant fibres. Or figure out that bush thing. New England does have fibrous plants to do that with, after all.

It depends heavily on the type of tree you are harvesting the bark from. Some trees make for great bark fibers (like sweet chestnut, willow, elm, oak and lime), others can be woven but not made into cordage (like birch) and some don't have useable fibers at all.

Lots of trees have rather brittle bark that cant be made into cords.

Anyway, yea, triffids dont give tainted veggies, fungaloids do. Thankfuly there was a fungal bloom close by that I managed to harvest some tainted veggy from using a hazmat suit and a kukri. It takes a fair bit of item gathering but the materials aren't too hard to find, so alpha serum production is doing fine.

Anyways, once you start using a specific serum, can you still get mutations from other types of serums? I plan to inject myself with medical serum once I go deep into alpha human territory.

Yep you can, go nuts. The only restriction is that you can only cross the threshold in one mutation path.

I've been trying to create a custom scenario and I'd like to know if anyone knows what is/are the id(s) used to select a prison as a starting location.

I've also noticed that some professions have the tag ["SCEN_ONLY"]. Anyone know what does that do?

Let me clarify: With most trees found in New England it is possible to do that with bark.

Presumably it restricts you choosing them outside of a specific starting scenario.

Make sense, since mutant professions seem to have that tag. Thanks for the help  :)

Where does Cata:DDA take place? I've heard said that it's in England, but whenever I get a flag quest from an NPC, it's always an American flag they are looking for.

For those that have no idea, New England is Massachusetts north, while ignoring New York.

I think it may also include Rode Island and Connecticut, but who cares about those?
