My only problems show up when I can't find gas stations. Beat the crap out of the vending machines and take the goodies. You'll pay for it later via illness if you only drink soda and eat chips and cookies, but those things have this great tendency to have a week or so's worth of junk food in them.

S'backup food. Only eat the perishables and you have yourself a store of food that will last forever. Jut bolster yourself with dailies and herbal tea, and get real meat and food when you can.

Also, has farming been fixed? I might delve into the code to poke around at that.

I finally had a character live long enough with enough books and good enough organization to make my first rolling death-mobile base! While salvaging other vehicles I found a Robot Driving Unit but have no idea what it does, I installed it on my base, but im not sure what it's supposed to do.

"A set of servos, microcontrollers and other devices, together capable of driving an unmanned vehicle. Its AI is not functional, but it should still have some sort of maintenance mode."

What is this maintenance mode? What is it for?

How do I run 0.B on Linux? Back with .A, I seem to have been able to run the game by right-clicking the executable in a file manager and executing that, but that's not working this time. Are there any new libraries or something I have to get for 0.B?

Try running it through terminal and see what that gets you.

Maintenance mode is essentially remote manual control. If you have a remote vehicle controller you can control the vehicle it's installed on remotely.

You young whippersnappers, with your remote controlled cars.  Back in my day in order to run yourself over you needed two characters, and one of them had to spontaneously die while driving the car at high speed, while the other one had to hike uphill through the nonexistent snow to the place where the first character died, position yourself in perfect vehicular suicide position and pray that the car wasn't obliterated by a bush on it's way to deliver a car frame to your pristine kneecaps.

Last I heard, there was a problem with seeds and growing times. In that seeds wouldn't grow, and that you can't get seeds -from- plants, other than cotton which has a special crafting call.

Did you set the brazier up as you do a trap, and didn't just drop it on the floor? It doesn't contain fires unless it's set up.

Ive seem them grow, and seeds from plants was a thing, atleast it was a month or two ago.

You have to use the activate command to place it properly. If you simply drop it then it is just another piece of furniture. I did the same thing on my recent third play through ruining what was my first real taste of some success in this game (though I was only in day 4).
