I use wood fires before I can rig up an immobile kitchen unit to cook on, and for light. The small batteries are for night vision goggles and UPS's. There's no real shortage of wood, like ever.

Some of us freak out because they can't remember if underbrushes grow back and worry that looting ~20 of them every few days for bird eggs is unsustainable. Using batteries for something I can use simple wood and matches for is a waste. Eventually I move to solar power and I'm happy forever. Because solar power. Is infinite. And sustainable.

Shift+G+[Direction]?

I SWEAR I know how to play this game. I've literally never had to use that command and must have missed it looking through the in-game control list.

I actually have no idea if underbrush grows back or not.

I'm loving the addition of mycus. c: I can't wait till it gets more added to it. though its kind of sad, not needing a kitchen anymore.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

One of the perks of being Mycus is
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

On a side note, the Mycus does not seem to like me. I once tried going Mycus, but I never got more than carrier, despite eating several dozen seeds and 3 units of gelatin. The attempt ended when I tried walking up to a tower peacefully due to the suggestion of a forum post. It killed me.

Yeah IIRC the tower thing only works if you've already got the other two traits required.

As far as I can tell from reading the code:

1. Underbrush doesn't regrow.

2. Foot cranks can power six truck alternators.  Although, I doubt you can install six.  Still sounds like something to try out.

Alternators can only be installed on a gas/diesel powered engine.

Well, zero is definitely not six. ;)

I have the vision distortion malfunctioning CBM.  It doesn't seem to do anything, except that it occasionally gives me a message that my vision is pixelated, so I guess I was lucky.

Is there an easy/safe way to remove it?  Otherwise I'll just keep it in, rather than taking chances.
