Has anyone put together a steam group for DDA? I'd like to join one if there was one.

Having a high pitched whine come from your vehicle's engine is a bad thing, yes?

If so, what kind of crappy motorcycle can't even go 50 mph?

It was very nice of my motorcycle to go from 51-0 in one turn when its engine died. No messy wreck, no coasting, nothing.

A minibike?

I ended up with a motorcycle that had a 0.60 some Liter engine and it could barely do 20.  I came to the conclusion that it must be a minibike.  Worked in my head ever since.

It could be the literal interpretation of motorcycle, as in a motor powered bicycle. They sell kits to make them from a bike, I actually have one though I don't use it much at all. They have a bit of pep to them but thats only when compared to a normal bicycle.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

Don't think it was a minibike. It had a 0.9 liter V-twin in it. Back in the '60s, Mazda produced cars with V-twin motors less than half the size.

Why are NPCs so goddamn fast? Its nearly impossible to catch up with one; not to mention that if you get to close to them they vanish on the overmap.

So I go to the basement of the starting Evac shelter and get lucky enough to find a backpack and a hammer. I go outside, and am greeted by three crates chillin' in the middle of the road. I smash them open and suddenly am able to fill my inventory with food, drink, C4, and grenades.

Happy hunting ahead, it seems.

Edit: I then came across about a dozen bodies, some of which were absolutely laden with methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and submachine guns. The others all had CBM: Blaster Arms. Crime doesn't pay, kids. And neither does emulating a video game character.

Edit2: What kind of man attacks a FEMA camp head-on without a single firearm? One with many, many, many explosives. C4 is a beautiful thing. I ran out of explosives before I ran out of targets, but they got machete'd. And there are enough medical supplies here to fix me right back up!

Edit3: However, there were not enough walls to hold back the first brute I've ever encountered.

Chapter4: New character spawns in the same evac shelter, and I decide to go to those corpses with the guns to arm up and avenge my death. Cutting through the woods I come across seven military corpses, just off of the road where the other bodies were. Loot includes a military rucksack, army helmet, food, an M4A1 and compatible incendiary rounds. Oh, and a portal generator. Oh, and I nabbed two sticks of dynamite my last character couldn't carry from the explosive crates. I don't think I'm deleting this world save any time soon.

Chapter5: The FEMA camp is clear after having to fire four shots. I checked where the brute was being held, and sure enough, it's not in there anymore. Though there's no sign of breaking out, either. Must've been thinking in portals. I kept moving though since the camp was hardly standing after my assault. Cleared a few farms and cabins with a machete I got from my old corpse, and now I have a silenced M4A1.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Hm... An amplifier circuit needs two transponders, but transponders are disassembled into 3 signal receivers... and each signal receiver uses 2 amplifier circuits...

Meh. Fema camps aren't too hard. Several times they're the first place I've went to. (the secret is barbed wire)

EDIT: So I dropped this fractal jelly because I was about to chug a bunch of mutagen so I just dropped everything. And it... turned into nothing (3). Huh. Never even got to use it...

Also. If I have hooves and webbed hands and tentacle arms.. How am I supposed to warm up my feet and hands? I can't wear any clothing on them. I thought being furry would help, but its not.

I've recently begun playing this, and so far i'm hooked! After a few short lived characters, I discovered static spawn and classic mode and began playing around with it. And so the tale of the drunken crusader began.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

To sum it up: Molotov Cocktails and zombies go along like a house on fire. I'll probably make a few more of these later.

So... infinite Amplifiers? Mental note... check. Thanks. :P

Wait wait, I got a good one. It's Amplifiers all the way down! ...That wasn't very good, was it.

I think that's because it's supposed to be a circular thing, crafting one thing you need from several you already have at a loss. They probably overlooked the fact that disassembling gives back just as much as crafting requires, therefore giving the opposite result of infinite components.
