In that case, lets do something devious.
Let's start a secret chamber in which we worship the dark eldar gods.  That way we can sweep all of our enemies away with our armies of death and madness.
EDIT: Also, change our town name to Lovecraftia

No. Just NO
Oh why not?

Dude, are you TRYING to get our town wiped off the map for practicing witchcraft? Or are you just making troll suggestions that nobody else will support for laughs? Cause we don't find it funny bro

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Why don`t we go to each house that had a soldier die under our command and maybe comfort the widower or maybe give them some compensation so they can hire extra hands to help tend their lands.

There is a reason I said SECRET.  We can even put a nice little sign on the door telling people that it's something that they would never want to go into.  Plus it would give us something to do with all the assassins we seems to attract.

On a different, just as serious note, has anyone considered the possibility that the count was behind this invasion, I mean, he was sick for the battle.  Apparently he's quite fond of gratuitous violence.

So long as we don't get caught, what could go wrong?
EDIT: Besides, I think demonic strength and powers outweigh the possible risks, as we are the hero, meaning that anything we inadvertently wake we'll obviously kill

There is no evidence of magic or aliens in this setting, it would be a long shot unlikely to pay off. It would provide less benefit than following the local religion more devoutly, which still might not be much.

And there's no chance we wouldn't eventually be caught, and a similar chance we'd be able to recruit anyone.

Don't do that. Sounds flamey, starts fights. Just ignore. I think Mal knows that there is a vast majority that doesn't support this.

Shy away from ad homonyms and just let the post dry up and become dust in the wind.

No reason to ad hominem when you can argue ad argumentum.

If anyone knows a bit of Latin, could they tell me what I just said?

If anyone knows a bit of Latin, could they tell me what I just said?

At the man, at the argument. Pretty simple.

As for visiting each family of a dead soldier and giving them support, sounds like a bad idea. We have better things to do than obsess over the past and open old scabs. The payment is that their wives and daughters are unraped and unmurdered. Death in battle happens, and this was to protect their own families.

Disagree. Casualties did not reach a point where this has become unreasonable, spending a couple days comforting our loyal subjects in the coming winter months shows that we are a compassionate leader who cares about those who serve under us, which might even attract more recruits. It's not like we have an overabundance of projects in the winter anyway.
