Turn 19

Keep a guard out while the other question the kobold.

Standing next to Caern you keep a eye out for anything unusual.


Loom near kobold to aid in indimidation.

You hover over the kobold trying to look intimidating as possible, assisting anybody else in interrogation should they attempt so.

Search the dead.

Ignoring the dung dripping of your face you check the corpses of your enemies for anything valuable. You end up finding little, Besides their poorly made armor and weapons you only find dried meat and mushrooms and pouches with small teeth in them. Seems like these kobolds are particularly old school for them not to use crowns as a currency.

Keep waiting until the team is done with their stuff.

You keep guarding the perimeter together with Grey.

Now heal self.

You grab some more supplies and get to work on yourself. You are bit less successful then you were on Derm as you have a hard time reaching the wounds but you do manage to fix some of the damage.

April waits for the kobold to be coherent/understanding of its surroundings, then asks why they were so... suicidal.

You wait patiently as the kobold slowly becomes aware of his surroundings. Once he is fully awake he stiffens with realization that he has been captured. You open your mouth to ask the question but the kobold's hand quickly darts to a hidden compartment in his armor to draw out a small knife. You and Derm quickly react trying to stop him but you are to late and the kobold slits it's own throat. It bleeds out on the ground with a a grin of defiance. You probably should have checked for that knife or bound him with some rope but now it is to late.

The young man shakes his head, apparently surprised with the developments.
"Kobolds aren't usually brave and determined to that point. As far as I know, two of the same scouting group committing suicide to avoid capture is unheard of."

"Anyway, I think we won't get much more from the corpses if you're done checking them. We should get to moving soon. I'll take point, since I wasn't wounded during combat."

When the team is ready, move on.

"Well if no one else wants a quick magic rub I guess we should go," says Facol, hoping no one is interested in the kobolds' mushrooms.

Grab the dried mushrooms and then onwards.

"They are a special totem to my people..." he mutters darkly if anyone mentions this.

With masks cleaned and corpses looted the party moves on, leaving the dead kobolds behind them. You soon arrive at your destination and with all the stealth the group can muster you quickly take cover behind some trees and bushes near the mine. From a hidden position you take a look at the mine, it certainly lives up to it's name as it looks abandoned. There are no guards at the entrance and you can only see a dark unlit tunnel sloping down into the side of a small cliff.

Scan the area for sentries and guards from cover then move up to a position that gives a clean line of fire on the entrance and take cover.

Caern looks around for a bit before speaking.
"We should wait until the next patrol leaves before going inside, that'd leave them shorter on arms inside the mine and allow us to find their leader with less problems."

"If we wait we risk other kobolds who are already out returning before we move, we do not have enough information to know whether we should wait or not and it would take several days at least to get it."
