Shift to a form suitable for swimming and go into the pond

{1} You catch yourself on fire! {3} You skip shapeshifting. You're on fire, remember? So you hop into the pond, putting out the flames. Hopefully you can float. The wreck is burnt to ash.

Close door. Examine shack.

{2} You nudge it with your foot, but it remains open. {3} You're still shaken from constantly falling over, so you try to calm yourself by looking at the ceiling. You notice there's moss there, though.

{2} You consider your past attempts and decide to put it off until you're more comfortable and confident. {1} You scan the outside and find nothing of value except for a velociraptor with a fabulous cape.

Slip into normal sleep.

{6} You regain consciousness and whack yourself with the pommel of your sword. You're now "sleeping" unconsciously again.

Wake up, put the kettle on.

{6} You wake up, slamming your fists at the ground and propelling yourself forward into a rotation and hit your head on a table. You now have a migraine.
{4} You happen to find a kettle on the table, though, fill it up with hail and hang it in the fireplace while you anxiously wait for it to boil with no fire.

Ascertain if the pond is deep or not. If deep, shapeshift to swimming form and begin to explore. If not, get out of pond, shapeshift to a shape that burrows underground and can sense vibrations, then begin to explore underground.

{3} You can feel the bottom where you stand near the beach. You therefore conclude that it's a shallow pond. {3} You shapeshift into a mole. Blind, and forgotten to get out of the pond, you struggle to stay afloat.

{2} You're too occupied trying to stay afloat.
{3} Kicking and squirming, dive down to the bottom and toss some of the sand around but you run out breath before you can make any big impact.

Do press ups while waiting for the kettle to boil.

{2} You do push-ups, but the kettle won't start to boil! You keep doing more until you're too fatigued to continue.

Check outside. And inside.

{6} You head outside, getting struck by golfball-sized hail. Undeterred, you drop down to the ground and start checking the ground. Finding some rocks, you arrange them in a pattern, moving them around back and forth and check your imaginary friend Outside. Suddenly, he breaks it and counter-checks! The continuous hail bombardment messes with your concentration and you make a mistake. You've been checkmated. The ensuing scream echoes for miles as you throw the rocks away and head back inside.
{3} You trip over a stone tablet.
