Altering desigantion

Idea: Adding multiple priorities to the designation menu

Lets say you just designated half of the trees outside for cutting down. Everything seems fine, your woodcutters are up there, doing their thing. Suddenly! A tower cap just popped up in the middle of a hallway, blocking of a part of your fort!
The ability to make this specific tree more important than the rest outside would be very handy.
There are multiple ways to get rid of that sabotaging tree. Burrows, canceling earlier designation and so on.
But wouldn't it make things a lot less of a hassle? What about that almost ready dining hall with those 2 god damn squares waiting to get mined out?

TL;DR
Adding multiple designation priorities would make the life of an overseer easier.

Actually .... yeah, that would be nice.

However, similar behavior could be achieved through assigning a dwarf to a temporary burrow where the relevant work needs to be done.

Yeah, being able to set designations and constructions as urgent would be nice. I wouldn't make it a scale, just urgent and non-urgent.

I would like it as a scale, more for making sure my mega projects go up and come down in the order I want them to then for maintenance projects. What about 1-4, for an even 2 bits?

@ King Mir and Bytytan
I guess having 2 tiers would be enough (low and high priority), more would only be icing on the cake.

Or 0-3, depending on the number you give average priority stuff. Or if you can make designations low-priority.

Either way. I like the idea of a less then standard priority. Maybe having the default as 1 under your system, I don't think multiple low priorities are as important as multiple higher ones.

I would like to be able to do this with constructions too, for times when I want to trap a FB in the caverns, but don't want to suspend all the walls in my above-ground stuffs.
