I made a .BAT animation.
« on: December 15, 2012, 01:35:34 pm »

I created a simple ASCII animation using notepad.
You can look at here.
http://www.mediafire.com/?apa4q7jxzcb4hbp
Unzip and then run the .bat

Or if your afraid of viruses, you can paste the source code in notepad and save it as a .bat, then run it.

The first small thing that made me feel awesome was my indoor waterfall. A few minutes later though, it started flooding my fort so I felt less awesome.

This is kinda nice and makes me wonder if more longer and complex stories could be created with nothing but Notepad.

To be honest, batch files have severe limitations.
And that is why I'm learning Java. Wish me luck.

Also have an update.
