~Coup de Grāce~ A Hitman Suggestion Game
« on: December 12, 2012, 09:48:58 pm »

You sit on the edge of your bed in your discreet, small apartment room. You already did the training, passed the tests, and signed the contracts weeks ago. To be a Hitman. No, not an Assassin. An Assassin commits to their goal for some moral reason, like politics or religion. A Hitman is an employee, a laborer for those who want other disposed of. You kill for your paycheck, big bucks. You can use your money for anything from hard drugs to donations to the poor. But that's your choice, and whatever you do will be funded by your kills.

The door bell rings, and you race towards the entrance to your home and open the door. There is no delivery person in sight, but there is a package at your doorsteps. You snatch it and open it on your kitchen table, and find only a black laptop inside. Flipping the computer open to display it's monitor, you press the ON switch. A pre-written message is the first screen you come upon.

Welcome to the Agency. As of the opening of this message, you are a certified member of our society. Your job will be to eliminate those deemed unworthy by our clients, and receive financial pay for the job.

The device you have is your 'Transceiver'. It is modeled after a laptop computer, but is quite different. The Transceiver has no Internet or public networking capabilities, as to prevent it from being traced or recorded. It does have several features. The "Forum" is an area where you can search for contracts, as well as contact the Agency if you need to. Another feature is the
"Shop". There are no items displayed in the shop, however, search for any item that exists, or might potentially exist, and it will search the Agency Inventory for it. You can then purchase this item with A.C., which will be explained later.

After accepting your contract, you will be transported to the "Safe Zone" around it; the closet area to the target that is undetectable. Your job is to sneak in and eliminate the target through any means you find necessary. You will utilize the skills you have been trained such as disguise, stealth, lockpicking, hacking, martial arts, firearms, and improvised weaponry. After you eliminate your target, simply get back into the Safe Zone without any following threats. Agency escorts will be there to transport you back to your home.

There is no penalization for eliminating anyone in the area besides your target. However, there is penalization if any witnesses are able to link you to any evidence in the "Contract Zone"; where the elimination takes place. If this happens, the Agency will send a "Clean-Up Crew" to stabilize the situation and remove any future threats. However, the compensation for this extra work will be a cut in your reward, based on how much cleaning up was left to do.

Each mission has a monetary reward from the client, and most will be yours to spend. However, you can not utilize any of this money in the Store. That is why a tenth of your money, called Agency Currency or A.C., will be wired to your Receiver, which is the only type of money that can be used in the store. The Agency is not responsible for any objects or valuables lost during a contract.

Before you can proceed, simply fill out the following chart to confirm your information.

Codename: The name which you will be referred to, not your biological name. Please use real words, though those words can be of any contemporary human language.
Gender: Very important, especially when it comes to identification and disguise. The Adam's apple of a "lady" or the breasts of a "gentleman" has lead to the downfall of more than one Agency member in the past...
Age: Also somewhat important.
Height: Different heights offer advantages and disadvantages depending on the situation.
Weight: Similar to Height.
Race/Ethnicity: Sadly, still an important identification mark even in today's society. Though some can be confused with others, especially among strangers, which could be advantageous or disadvantages....
Country: Where are you currently living?

Appearance: A description of what you currently look like.
Biography: A compact history of your life. Include what made you want to become a member.

-----
Upon completion, your next package with your initial equipment will be mailed to you, along with full access to your Transceiver.

Codename: Viento del Desierto
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Height: 6'3
Weight: 165 pounds
Race/Ethnicity: Latin
Country: Germany

Appearance: Black haired, with the dark skin commonly associated with South America. A sly, but playful look in his eyes indicates his trickster nature. He's recently shaved since moving to Germany, in an attempt to keep a low profile.
Biography: Viento grew up in the slums of Latin America, running drugs for the various cartels. This is where he earned his nickname, from being as swift as the wind, and as natural at moving through the off-road desert it were his birthplace. Eventually, a leak in their organization let a rival gang know his routes, and set an ambush. When it was sprung, Viento, armed with nothing but a .22 calibur, his wits, and the city enviroment around him, single-handedly fought off the ambush. From there, he was promoted to an enforcer for the group. That is, until they suffered a hostile takeover. During the restructuring, he was decided unnessecary, and an attempt to eliminate him was made. Like before, he escaped with his life. Unlike before, he had no safety to retreat to, and betweem his exploits both in wooing womens hearts and survival, he'd made many enemies in his home country. Trapped, with no place to go, Viento armed himself up and prepared to run his final route. Then, a total stranger made a proposition. Become a hitman. Join us. We'll protect you. Deciding possible death was better than near certain, he took his offer.

Viento del Desierto. That shall be your name. You type the information into the Transceiver and send it. The screen goes blank. You go back to waiting.

The doorbell rings again. This time you almost instinctively snatch it and bring it into your house. This one is bigger, but not as heavy. You open it to find your first agency equipment:

Agency Suit - Consist of a black suit, black pants, black shoes, black gloves and a red tie. It might seem impractical, but it's been specially made to allow the user to be better concealed in dark areas.

Glock 9 - A common pistol.

Fiber Wire - Expertly crafted garrote that allows for quick, silent kills.

You look back at your Transceiver to see that it's on again, and this time with all your resources open to you.

You jump onto the Forum and search available contracts. You find three:

Street Sweeping - A vicious leader of a drug gang is wanted to be taken down.
Location: Chicago, Illinois, U.S.
Reward: $500 A.C.

Outcheating - A wealthy business man currently residing at the Madison Hotel has a mistress. Eliminate him.
Location: London, Great Britain
Reward: $1200 A.C.

Intolerance - The leader of a white supremacy group has gotten out of control. Silence him.
Location: Sydney, Australia
Reward: $780

You can look further into any that sound interesting.

Outcheating for sure it has the biggest payoff which will definately help us out with acquiring more equipment. The other advantages are that it's closer and let's face it, this guy's the least likely to be that dangerous.

I wonder why we're not being sent to deal with the mistress...probably hiding other marital difficulties, or wanting the money. Or being hired by the mistress's husband.

Intolerance I think a middle payoff is the best bet, probably not too dangerous, but enough pay to maybe get some new equipment. Plus, the target is a racist asshole, so he should be killed.
