What subject would B12 like to see in an illustrated adventure?
« on: December 02, 2012, 01:44:45 pm »

The time has come once again for me to arbitrarily decide to start a forum game! I've been working with Photoshop a little, and I need to practice my arting skills, so I turn to the great hive-mind of Bay 12 to spake thusly on what I should do. I'm open to any ideas that 1) revolve around humanoid characters, and 2) are not sci-fi. It could be fantasy, horror, action, a suggestion adventure, a multiplayer RP, a god game, or any combination of, or addition to, or combination of and addition to the aforelisted ideas!

So... What would people like to see/play?

EDIT: Actually, let me amend that. It has to involve humanoid characters, not necessarily revolve around them.

I have always wanted to see or make a proper Legend of Zelda ISG.

I'm not too familiar with the setting (all the different incarnation confuse me), but I could give it a try if it seems like a popular idea. I'm going to wait a bit to hear other suggestions, though.

I would like to see a draw zombie base one, not a ruby quest zombies where they look normal before their head open wide

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

How about a "fish out of temporal water" story?

Maybe with zombies tacked on?

Multiplayer god-game (with the lands & creatures already formed)

What do you mean by 'a draw zombie base one'? I'm afraid I don't know what ruby quest zombies look like, so I'm uncertain what the difference would be.

That would be good!

I could do that; players having their own deities who create avatars to interact with people and stuff.

EDIT: I'm leaning towards the temporal displacement/zombie thing. While the plot and setting can certainly be changed if more people say 'nay, I want this other idea to be used!', I'd like to know whether people want this to be a multiplayer RP or a suggestion adventure.

Okay, I think I get what you're saying. I was planning on having zombies look like actual zombies, as opposed to being near indistinguishable from normal people.

EDIT: Wait, I think there's another zombie game going on here as well. If people want this one to be about zombies, we'll go with it, but it might be a good idea to go with a different setting.

We're going with a multiplayer god-ish game. This way I'll still be able to have it be based on humanoids instead of more abstract beings.
