While this isn't technically in a "wrong" section

You could have put it in the DF general discussion in the dwarf fortress section.

As for Toady's team. It is mostly just him who does the programming. Threetoe is mostly someone Toady bounces ideas off of.

There was also a third person but I can never remember who he was or his importance, if any.

Really the forum accepts voluminous praises for the Great Toad pretty much where'er you lay them. They're just best placed in th'upper forums, closer to the Great Toad's actual work, rather than merely basking in his magnanimity.

What Frumple said. I think you can move the topic if you want to, though, there's a button somewhere. But yeah, to the upper forums would be good; t'would not be proper for ye to be exposed to the intricacies and horrors of the lower boards until you're sufficiently acclimatized to the insanity.

What insanity? I thought we all just had a thing for murder, torture and summoning eldritch abominations.
I'm speaking Commoner, greatorder.

Commoner?
I believe what they call 'normal talk'? Essentially normal conversation without all the fun bits taken out - no personal genocide maths, excessive possibly unintentional innuendo, summoning cosmic horrors from beyond the stars (thank you, by the way). Stuff like that. Quite boring, really.

Ah, right.

Also, I'm doing a summoning ritual. You ought to have a friend within a certain amount of time. I'm unsure how time works, considering it's being summoned in a space-time rift.
Why thank you! What kind of friend, may I ask? Name (that can be enscribed in mortal languages), power level, bio, anything like that?

He works on part of the graphics, I believe.

Baughn was the person who wrote all of the graphics code for the non-2D graphics modes (so STANDARD, PARTIAL:X, etc.) since Toady didn't want to take the time away from development to learn how to.

Hang on, if baughn was the third person, who is kurtulmak?
Kurtulmak was an admin for the Original Armok 1 forum IIRC. It was before my time so I don't know too much about it. The last time he was active was over two years ago, back before they closed the old Armok 1 forum board. He left the community after that.

Yes, I know WHO kurtulmak was, I meant it as in 'Where does he fit into this whole staff mash up?'
He's gone. As I said he worked as an admin for Armok 1 and hasn't had anything to do with DF.
