Magic. Other than that, no, not that I'm aware of.

There are 5 ways to gain stat bonuses:
a.Souls: self explanatory
b.Magic: using words such as Speed, Strength, etc. you can gain +1 on certain stats. Do it too much and you risk a burnout, since the required energy is taken from your life force.
c.Elemental control: You can increase stats by controlling the element you're made of. Increase a stat too much and you'll start getting -1s on other stats. Do this too much and you risk attracting the attention of something... bad.
d.Gods: Many gods give bonuses or mutations that give bonuses to stats.
e.The Other: By selling your soul to the other you can gain bonuses to certain stats.
f.? ? ?: There may be other ways to increase stats. I have some theories, but I haven't tested them yet.

What can Flux do? Is it powerful?

Flux is excellent for mages intending on getting into close range fights where an enemy could stab you, because she gives a +1 to speed rolls used to dodge.  And seriously, if there is one combat stat you want, it's SPD- A high speed makes you nigh-immune to aimed attacks (Read: All normal physical attacks, like a guy swinging a weapon at you, and most aggressive spells.).  There is one exception to that, but it is very dangerous to the user as well, and there's ways of countering it.

So if you get a high SPD, which Flux helps with, you are pretty much safe to regen mana and throw spells at your enemy while they uselessly flail.

She also grants some material changing abilities or something, but nobody has really progressed in her favor tree to see them.
