Yes, provided he can find someone who's willing to give him dollars for it at any hour of night, via an automated transaction. 

Although it's not my objective to promote the use of bitcoins, I'm just here to correct people's confusion about them. Toady can do what he want's, I just want the record strait.

And if he wasn't, all the Dwarf fortress players would find his account and hassle him relentlessly. Supposedly he sometimes spend stime on side-projects, and will never tell us because we'd freak. With good reason.

He does spend time on side projects. There this 'weekend' project, that he worked on from time to time, but he hasnt told the community anything about it.

The 'weekend project' is ToadyTwo, the project will be ready in another 10 years, providing a much needed backup in case anything unfortunate happens to our Benevolent overlord.
I'm hoping the weekend project is also single threaded, we wouldn't want the successor to get distracted and not spend decades improving the grand project.

yes I know reference, but there's tons of stuff that's small and metal, plus all you need to get rich is a boat to china and someone who can operate the old cap-making machinery

hell, all you'd really need is a sheet of aluminium, bolt cutters, a hammer and a ridged thing shaped like the inside of a bottlecap, plus a sharpie for that legit touch which would definitely all be lying around somewhere
