@USEC from a few pages back, the three dead/fallen sprites are used to animate the fall animation as they run out of hp. It goes 1-2-3 and stops on 3.

@Darvi

There's no reason for us to ease up on scripts besides the fact that the more scripts there are, the slower it processes. I think the Yanfly engine demo runs fine with 30-40 extra scripts. :D

I'm going to start writing for the 'victory aftermath' script. Got any particular lines you want? This currently will be for Greatorder, Svampapa, Darvi, Zerg and Dermonster. XK will follow when he's in.

Sort of like a version of Odin from FF8? That's pretty easy to do.

Just have Zanzetzuken's AGI / FPS be very low. Give him a spell called Sunlance as you said, 95% chance of KO one opponent, unaffected by evade. It's very easy to make a 'lose or win condition' with different things happening besides a game over if you lose, etc.

That reminds me. What are our statistics going to be?

HP is HP.
MP is MP.
ATK is now PPD, Posts Per Day.
DEF is DEF.
SPI is still SPI.
SPD/AGI is now FPS, Frames Per Second.

Yeah there's a few that I think are quite neat, such as the one that adds Res and Dex. Others are of course not so good (scaling enemies are the devil)

Victory:
  • Cut and cut, cut, cut, confusion!
  • Kickin' arse and chewin' gum. And I hate bubblegum.
  • What, over already...
  • A small step for us, but a huge leap towards total omnicide!
Level up:
  • Did I just get less sucky?
  • Woohoo!
  • Just a bit more until I'm a Legendary+5 Spammer!
  • Cookie storage capacity increased!
Skill:
  • Yes. Hell yes! HELL. FUCKING. YES!
  • I figured out another way how to beat the stuffing out of people!
  • Guess what I just learned... Eheheheh >:3
  • Ooh. Let's find some more enemies so I can try this out.
Loot:
  • Oooh, shiny!
  • I call dibs on that!
  • Yay for large pockets!
  • Anybody want that? No? Mine then!
No loot:
  • Which asshat took all the loot when I wasn't looking?
  • Aw, no stuff to take...
  • Can't we just, butcher the enemy and sell their meat for cash? No? Okay...

Out of curiosity, what are the requirements to make an appearance in the game? I doubt I would get in because I just spend all my time in Other Games (And occassionally Roleplaying/Games) :P

@Darvi, appreciate the enthusiasm regarding the Github, but as VX doesn't really have a merging feature, I don't think it would be wise to use it as anything other than a sprite compendium for people to work on or to drop ideas into. I'm all for that though.

@JohnFalcon:

Make a sprite, get in before the 20 positions are filled up (at which point I may extend the numbers if interest holds). You can make a sprite using RPG Maker VX Ace's trial edition.

There's no real need for merging as long as people add their changes to the newest version.

Thing is when you have people like me who make constant edits then having to wait for one person to make them definite can be a bit of a hassle.
