Darvi, if you want to make your job of spriting that one easier, my character uses that haircut. I made most of the angles for that kind of hair already. You'd just have to touch up the bottom to account for what was cut off by the scarf, and recolour it. Still easier than drawing it by hand.

It still needs some work, especially around the edges of the mask, and it needs a little cleaning up on the bottom, but overall it turned out better than expected!

I have the basic unedited sprites, but I don't quite have the time to fiddle with them right now, I'll get to work on the them and fixing up the mask later.

Opinions on what I have so far for possible improvement?


Regarding music and story:  I'll be willing to help with either, I was just about to start messing around with LMMS and Audacity anyway and I'm always up for weaving a good yarn. 

Spriting I'll be of minimal use on besides cleaning up or editing existing ones.  I've been a dabbling spriter for a few years now, but my skills are rather shabby and rusted to boot.

I would highly recommend the Ubuntu Studio Linux distribution for audio production. It comes with a customised Linux kernel that's ideal for audio production, integrating the best upstream technologies. Oh, and it comes with Ardour out of the box!

Problem is, that I am using Windows 7.. So these Linux/Mac programs would be rather.. difficult to use?

LMMS works on Windows, you just have to make sure the audio settings are right or else you'll just get a distorted static-y bass-ish sound out.

Nah that's part of my ultimate Death of a Myriad Posts attack, which summons various Darvis from alternate universes and timelines to whack the enemy.
