Meanwhile, Marie and Phyliss are not getting along so great.

"I didn't do anything to it. IT got stuck. And I think this place has something against machines that aren't from here."

"That's absurd. Crows and furies, do they have an 'anti-tech field' or something?"

Nicole and the other two are almost down the stairs. Nicole's been wearing a large amount of blankents and clothes that were cast aside. Her clothes burnt off. She doesn't like that. As the've bee descending the stairs, corpses have been appearing on the ground, mostly Demonblood.


Allie slowly wakes up from that kind of dream that desires to end itself right before something important happens and within five minutes you've completely forgotten about it. Braug and someone without a Northern Indeurlii'aed Demonblood or Nyelrrithic accent have been arguing.

Phyliss chuckles.

"Who?"
Kogasa!Marie is confused.

"The one who led earlier. With the bloody duster."

"Oh, the one that looks like Camille."

"I believe that is the one."

The corpses have been seemingly been appearing from the same sort of void that Barth stepped out of when the whole story first began. Like a delayed arrival to the Lost and Found.

An irate Phyliss vanishes again, leaving Nicole and Kogasa!Marie alone. The latter just sighs and presses on.
